Our team
Gene founded Preston & Associates and has an extensive background in tax planning, accounting, audits, and management consulting, with a special focus on small and medium size enterprises.
He has years of successful experience working with service-based, sales distribution, not-for-profit, real estate, retail, and construction industries. He has assisted clients by serving as interim CEO/CFO (with absentee owner involvement) to maintain profitability and sound management during critical business periods.
Gene is an active member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and served on several committees including the AICPA Joint Trial Board. He is the past chairman of both the ethics and membership committees for PICPA. He also served as President of the National Association of Independent Insurance Auditors and Engineers, and the Philadelphia Insurance Auditors Society.
Michelle L. Lengel
Michelle is a Penn State graduate and has a Master’s degree from Villanova. Michelle provides our firm with knowledge and experience in U.S. and international tax planning and preparation. She has worked in both the private and public sectors of accounting. Michelle is a CPA Candidate working towards completing the CPA Examination.
Mary E. Killoran
Mary, our paraprofessional and office manager, assists our clients with their bookkeeping, payroll preparation, and accounting matters. She assures clients that all their tax and other issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Sandy L. Klein
Sandy is an Immaculata University graduate with a Master's degree from Drexel University.
She has worked both domestically and internationally in the field of healthcare operations and budget management.
Sandy assists the team in support of client services and office processes.
